“I am so incredibly honored and blown away. We live in such a generous and giving community and I am happy to have the ability to be a part of its evolution. The teen-aged me, first starting with my community service career with Key Club and Doernbecher Club during my high school lunch hours, would never have dreamed of this type of recognition and it makes me uncomfortable still today. What I am taking from this honor is the chance to say to all of the next generation of leaders that you CAN do this (and still be you).
