Summer Camps!

Our summer camps are jam packed with crafts, dancing, snacks, and good times with friends. Campers will move, learn, create, and socialize from 9 – 12:30, Monday – Thursdays. Read more about each of our great camps and register for your favorites here.

CVDA sumer camps are a great way to have fun and make memories with friends! They provide activities that are both enjoyable and educational. Summer camps also provide opportunities to meet new people and build relationships with peers and staff. With all the exciting activities and amazing people, summer camps can be a great way to make lasting memories and have fun in the summertime!

  • Camps run June 29th through August 10th
  • Campers bring their own packed lunch; we will provide snacks and a refillable water station
  • Pricing:
    • Early Bird pricing through February 12th: $125/camper
    • Advance pricing through April 1st: $150/camper
    • Retail pricing: $185/camper

MAGICAL MERMAID
camp week 1

Come be transformed into a magical mermaid. Learn how to live under the sea, surf with the dolphins and play on the beach with your mermaid friends. Learn a short routine and perform at the end of the week letting your magic travel to new heights. Let your dreams come to life as you dance, play, learn and create all week long. You’ll even receive a special under the sea gift for all of your hard work.

POPSTAR PARTY!: Your Name In Lights
camp week 2

This camp is sure to be the highlight of the summer!! All of the glitz and glam you can imagine all while cutting loose on the dance floor. Learn how to bust some new moves, dodge paparazzi and shine on stage. Listen to today’s hottest hits and perform a short routine at the end of the week. Walk down the red carpet to accept your pop star trophy and take your BIG bow!!!

Princess Passport

DANCE PAWTY + MY PET
camp week 3 | W. Salem only

Raise your paws if you love Paw Patrol and Secret Life of Pets because you’ll PAWSitively love this fun tap, ballet and creative movement dance camp! Tiny dancers can bring their favorite stuffed pet (dog, cat, character, anything goes!) and together they’ll unleash the fun on four PURRfect dancing adventures: The Paws & Claws Pet Spa, Pet PAWrade, Museum of Pet PAWtraits and the Disco Dance PAWty! At each stop along the way, dancers and pets will dance together and earn paw prints in their Pet PAWfolios. This dance PAWty will be a fun time…FUR sure!

Rainbow Unicorn

RAINBOW UNICORN PARTY
camp week 4

Fantastic beautiful outrageous fun everywhere! Express yourself in all the ways every day. Campers will learn 4 fun dances, create colorful and fun crafts, do team activities, sing, act, and cheer each other on. Rainbow Unicorns have fun being themselves and celebrating their friends too.  Wear all things colorful and out of this world imaginative play. 

Princess Passport

BROADWAY BOUND
camp week 5

If your dancer has ever dreamed about performing on a Broadway stage, then look no further. There will be singing, dancing and pretending! During this week-long camp, dancers will explore the life of a musical theatre dancer and have their imaginations put to the test! There will be a variety of activities to enhance their experience and snacks will be provided. The camp will end with a magical performance for parents alike at the Newberg Old Fashioned Festival Kids Stage on Friday July 26th in the afternoon!

Princess Passport

PRINCESS PASSPORT PARTY
camp week 6

Princesses will fill up their passport after learning and exploring a variety of important Princess values. Fight like a Princess (Mulan) pick out the perfect book (Belle), perfect your aim (Merida), express your feelings (Elsa), explore a new world (Pocahontas), clean up after yourself (Cinderella), strengthen your independence (Moana), show and tell your treasures (Ariel), decorate cookies (Tiana), escape the tower – not scary (Rapunzel) and MORE fun Princess activities. Can you even imagine how much fun this will be? Wear your fave Princess gowns and costumes.

  • Our camps have a minimum enrollment of 5 campers and if they do not meet that, we will combine the camp ages. Dancers who attend multiple camps will get a 5% discount on their second camp. 
  • Campers attend independently and the family is invited to the last 15 minutes of Thursday for a special performance and arts and crafts showcase.
  • Gluten free, dairy free, and dye free snacks and juice provided as snacks daily.
  • Campers are welcome to wear attire inspired by the theme but it must also be secure and safe enough to cover their bodies in stretching and dancing (shorts under dresses and fitted enough to not go over head if somersaulting or stretching). 
  • Camps are charged at the time of registration, upon confirmation from our enrollment team.
  • No-show campers are still charged the entire camp fee.  
  • Should you need to cancel, you will be refunded minus the cancellation fee of $25. 
  • Campers can transfer to another CVDA camp, if there is room, at any location up to one week prior to that camp start date.

It was amazing to watch our very timid shy daughter go into her beginners ballet class and come out with her head held high and a smile from ear to ear!

CVDA may be a dance studio, but what it excels at most of all is being an example of what it means for a business to exhibit virtue. That's not to say they don't have excellent training, they do - the instructors are talented, patient, and dedicated, and they have the trophies to prove it. Yet when you sign up for classes at CVDA, Kristen (owner) doesn't promise awards and scholarships, she promises your child will learn the skills necessary to be a positive, productive human being. Or as she puts it, "dance skills are life skills". As one example, they model positive contribution by actively serving and fundraising for the community every year.

It has been such a positive outlet for my kiddos, and gave them something to look forward to every week, even during the shutdown. I have been so impressed with the passion all the instructors pour into each and every class.

We found our home and second family. Each girl is ushered in and apart of a community that becomes family. The skills learned are way more than just dance related.
