Tuition & General Policies

• CVDA Fall 2026 – Spring 2027 Tuition & Policy Info

  • Tuition is due on the 1st of each month, September through May for the Fall-Spring Session and in 2 payments for the Summer Session. Your tuition will be automatically processed to ACH/Card on file unless it is paid prior to the 1st (or the listed summer session date). If your payment is not received by the 1st after processing, we grant a 3 day grace period. By the 4th of the month a $25 late fee will be assessed and applied to your account. Once your account is 21 days past due, we will suspend class participation until the account is brought current.
  • There is an annual membership fee of $50 for the first student and $25 for additional students with a $125 family cap- this is billed only for our September to August, no membership fee will be billed for summer. Annual membership fees are billed Sept 1st or upon registration and are not pro-rated. These fees have not been raised since 2022. 
  • We do not adjust tuition for absences. Dancers can choose to make up their absences in other classes on the weeks that they are present in the same style of dance, in any level at or below their placement; with instructor permission they may take a level above within 30 days of the absence. 
  • Tuition is the same every month, regardless of total weeks in a month and all classes have 1 built-in cancellation for weather emergencies and other such circumstances. All classes are priced at 33 weeks of classes over 9 months, however scheduled for 34 weeks of class over 9 months, to leave room for one cancellation per class throughout the season. 
  • Dancers are enrolled until they are withdrawn by a parent or guardian by filling out and submitting the CVDA Request for Change In Enrollment Form  This will kick start the 30 day change in enrollment policy. 
  • All changes to enrollment including adding a class or dropping a class must be communicated to office@iheartcvda.com for proper accounting and staff communication. 
  • Siblings receive a 10% discount calculated by the office staff. Siblings are calculated separately, then totaled for the family bill. The discount is applied to the lowest monthly tuition amounts.
  • Adult and College Students operate on a different tuition scale, please see below. Adult classes are complimentary for families with currently enrolled dancers for the Fall-Spring session only. 
  • One discount per student (no college and family rate, sibling and college rate etc).
  • Classes that do not meet the required minimum enrollment of dancers (specific to location and instructor) will be canceled and combined with another class. Dancers will have multiple options for a different class. 
  • Camps, events, master classes, and intensives are not part of monthly tuition discounts.
  • Please inform the instructor and the office if there are any new medical problems, physical limitations or family dynamic changes that we should be aware of. Please also email the studio and, if possible, inform the instructor if there are any deaths in the family or other issues that we should be aware of when working with your dancer.
  • Age placements are based on age as of October 31st for Fall/Spring sessions and July 31st for summer session.
  • In the event that class options change due to local, state, or federal restrictions, we reserve the right to transition to virtual classes at any time and if applicable, tuition will be adjusted for the upcoming billing period to reflect the training options available, at which time families can determine to implement a 30 day change in enrollment form. Note: tuition is the same regardless of in-person or virtual training.
  • With the exception of Parent Sneak Peek Weeks and Parent Participation Weeks, spectators are not allowed inside the dance space (virtual or in-person). Dancers attend class independently. 
  • Private lessons are paid to the studio directly in advance of the lesson and are scheduled with individual instructors at a rate of $2/minute for all instructors (except guest instructors). Please email the office for this request. Private lessons are open to all dancers at CVDA. 
  • All choreography is property of CVDA. If you would like to perform any of the choreography learned, you must get permission from the instructor and give credit where it is due upon the performance.
  • Costumes must be paid in full in order to receive them. 
  • All dancers participating in The Nutcracker must have their regular monthly tuition up to date in order to perform. 
  • All dancers must have tuition paid to date in order to participate in the Annual Showcase. 
  • Families who leave the studio with any unpaid tuition or fees to CVDA will be required to settle them before enrolling in any new classes or camps.

• Adult Program: 

  All parents of currently enrolled dancers receive complimentary enrollment in Adult classes offered during our Sept – May session. All college students with an active enrollment in a local university or community college receive complimentary tuition in Adult classes offered during our Sept – May session, with a one time annual membership fee of $50 due up front. All other adults tuition is as follows: 

  1 class per week $45/month

  2 classes per week $80/month

  3 or more classes per week $115/month
