October is sprinting by and that means one of our favorite holiday community events is around the corner. Halloween! CVDA loves to get into the spirit and engage with kids and families downtown McMinnville and Newberg.
The McMinnville Downtown Association sponsors 3rd Street’s annual “Safe and Sane” Halloween on Saturday, Oct. 31st. Come find CVDA on the corner of 3rd Street and Evans Street. The Mac PC groups will be performing between 3:00-5:30 pm. Dancers will also hand out tattoos and candy to trick-or-treaters between performances.
Newberg’s “Trick or Treat Downtown” takes place from 5:00-7:00 pm (hey, you can hit both towns for fall fun!) CVDA will perform at the studio, 309 East 1st Street. We’ll also hand out candy and tattoos to costumed kiddos and big kids. The Newberg Downtown Coalition will also be having a window decorating contest and one of our families have gone above and beyond! Make sure to vote for our window! Special thanks to Ruth Ann Myers and Kassondra Watson for the decorating talent!
